Mateusz Malina

Polish Freediver

Placed 2nd during the 6th AIDA Individual Depth World Championship 2011 in Kalamata with the result of 106 m in the Free Immersion discipline. Holding 19 records in 5 out of 6 freediving disciplines in Poland, right now holding 5 out of 6 Polish Freediving records.

Born: June 10, 1986 in Cieszyn, Poland. Debiuted as a professional freediver in 2009 and is improving his results every year in pool and depth disciplines.

Magdalena Solich

Polish Freediver

Started freediving at 24 years of age and after one year of training she participated in the AIDA Pool World Championships and won 3rd place in DNF (146 m).

One year later (2016) she participated at the AIDA Pool Wold Championships in Belgrade again and this time she came back with two World Champion titles (DNF and DYN), five broken national records and one new World Record in DNF! In 2017 Magda defended her title as World Champion in DNF (191 m) and set a new World Record in DNF, topping her own record from the previous year.

She trains with two trainers – Ryszard Szwajcer from the Edensport Diving Center and Mateusz Talada (privately her husband) in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

Polish Speed Skater

Participant of the Olympic Games in Vancouver (2010) and Sochi (2014), Polish team champion.

Born: June 14, 1986 in Zakopane, Poland.

Son of Stanisław and Nina Teresa Druszkiewicz.

Member of the Academic Sports Team, lead by trainer Krzysztof Niedźwiedzki.

International achievements:

  • Sochi 2014: speed skating - 10000 m - 14th place; 5000 m - 23rd place
  • Vancouver 2010: speed skating - 10000 m - 14th place out of 15, time 13:49.31
  • Universiade in Harbin, China 2009 - 1st place relay race

National Polish achievements:

  • Polish Championship Zakopane 2013: 10000 m - 3rd place, 5000 m - 3rd place, team - 1st place
