Notts County Women and Girls Football Club
Who we are?
Notts County Women & Girls Football Club was established with aim to provide best possible pathway for girls into proffesional football. Club has grown over the years and now provides a pathway from Under 9s right through to the senior Notts County Women first team, giving a clear vision of what can be achieved as the young players develop.
The girls' successes have been recognised across the county with promotions achieved at various age groups in the Young Elizabethan (boys) League and Notts Girls and Liadies leagues. We have also represented Nottinghamshire in the ACES Nationals two years running.
Team's objectives
We as a team have decided to follow long and challenging but rewarding way. We want to entertain and play enjoyable to watch football. Girl's passion and desire proves that it was a right choice as all of them love to be challenged and face every challenge with great attitude.
I got into coaching because of few reasons but I think most important for me was fact that I can take active part in shaping someone's character. Playing football alongside skills such as passing and shooting is a great platform to develop many skills useful in adults life such as dealing with stress, dealing with failures, working in group and much much more.
